Dangerous and Careless Driving

Where motorists face proceedings as a result of their driving falling below the required standard, the offences they face can range from careless driving right through to causing death by dangerous driving or indeed even motor manslaughter.  In all cases there are consequences; in some their liberty is at stake.

If you have been charged, summoned or are under investigation for any matters arising from your use of a vehicle on the road, it is recommended that you contact a solicitor specialising in motoring law at the earliest possible stage.

Drink Driving

Have you been accused of breaking UK drink driving laws? If so, contact the experienced solicitors at Regent Law. We specialise in defending clients who have been accused of a drink driving offence, our team can advise you of the penalties associated with drink driving and may be able to help you avoid a drink driving ban.

Mobile Phone use

If you have been accused of using a mobile phone whilst driving, Regent Law can advise and assist you. If you face proceedings involving use of a mobile phone whilst operating a vehicle, it is important that you contact a solicitor at an early stage to seek advice about your legal position and minimise the charges that you may face.

Regent Law specialist motoring law solicitors are happy to provide free initial advice to people facing charges of using a mobile phone whilst driving. Please contact us today on 01254 201296, or alternatively, you can email us.

Speeding

If you have been stopped by the police for speeding, received a speeding ticket or have been caught speeding by a speed camera, it is important that the matter is addressed as soon as possible.

The beginning of the case for the majority of drivers is when a ‘fixed penalty notice’ is sent through to the address of the registered keeper with a request for further information. This is the start of the prosecution process and therefore may well be the beginning of your defence.  It is advised that a solicitor specialising in the defence of speeding offences is contacted at this stage.
